Success Tip #440 Always Tell the Truth

Always tell the truth!

I recently attended a teleseminar by a major public speaker. It was one of those free teleseminars that many of us are invited to every day.

The surprising thing about this teleseminar is the host said in the beginning that there would be 55 minutes of solid information and then a 5 minute sales pitch at the end.

True to his word, there was exactly 55 minutes of solid information. There was only 5 minutes at the end where the speaker focused on his live one week workshop that he was trying to get me to purchase.

Even though I will not be attending his workshop this year, the speaker left a good feeling about what he has to offer.

I recorded his 55 minute workshop and am using many of the techniques he outlined. They prove to be very valuable.

This is the power of telling the truth. He stated in the beginning that he would have 55 minutes of solid information, and he was true to his word.

How many of you joined a teleseminar only to find that the entire time was spent talking with referrals, or bragging about the information you will receive at the “fee paid” seminar or teleseminar.

My tip for today whether you are selling seminars, teleseminars or golf carts, is, always tell the truth!
