Hypnosis Deepener #3 Working with The Sense of Tase or Smell

Working with the sense of smell or taste to deepen the hypnotic condition

You can employ either the senses of smell and taste to the hypnotic condition. Think about when you go to a movie theatre. The first smell you sense is popcorn. As you smell and taste the popcorn you begin to develop deep concentration on the movie. You are entering a state of hypnosis.

The following is an example of how you employ the sense of smell during a hypnotic induction with the purpose to deepen the experience.

“You are going deeper and deeper asleep.” “Imagine in you mind, you are in a garden surrounded by the thousands of flowers.” “In a moment you will begin to smell your favorite flowers.” “With your eyes closed, you can smell your favorite flowers.” “As you smell your favorite flowers, you are going deeper and deeper into hypnosis.”

Summary: Use the either the sense of taste or smell to deepen your hypnotic condtion in your stage or hypnotherapy subjects. It is easy and fun to use
