Background

Back in 1978 I was just a stage hypnotist. I did not hypnotize people to overcome problems or achieve success.

One day I received a phone call from a volunteer who was on stage at a show I performed at a major university. She had a problem that only a profound degree of hypnosis would help. Since I was located over a thousand miles away I said that I couldn’t help here. She replied, “Why don’t you hypnotize me over the phone.” “I trust you.”

That day in 1978, began a new way of looking at how to deliver hypnotic treatment programs. I began hypnotizing my clients over the phone!

Step by Step Approach

Make sure your client knows when you will be calling

Prep your client by email or by phone on what to expect

Make sure you have a good connection. Do not use a cell phone at either end. Try to stay away from cordless phones because of interference as well as low batteries.

Try to get a back up telephone number in case of emergency

Have your client sitting up in a chair.

Give instructions in your pre-hypnosis talk about what to expect

Keep away from challenges. You cannot observe the other person and challenges are okay in a show but have little value in hypnosis treatment sessions.

You may even discount your services for their employees as you will have instant clients and no additional marketing costs associated with getting those clients.
