How Do I Market My Hypnotherapy Practice?
Many times people attend one Hypnotherapy Certification Course after another, always learning new techniques however never learning the “one” technique that will turn their dreams of becoming working hypnotherapists instead of the humdrum jobs they are working to support their Hypnotherapy training fees.
The one technique that ALL hypnotherapists need to improve on is marketing.
Why is marketing skill so important?
There are three main reasons marketing skills are important to a hypnotherapist. You need to develop strong marketing skills because you need to sell your ideas and theories about hypnosis to your clients. You need to be aware that the same lack of self-confidence and self-esteem that holds you back from “tooting your own horn,” is the same lack of self-confidence and self-esteem that every one of your hypnotherapy clients is experiencing for their unique problems and challenges. Finally, the obvious, you need to hone your marketing skills to attract new clients for your financial survival in the business.
Selling Your Hypnosis Ideas and Theories to Your Clients
Your clients contact you about a problem. They ask, “Can you help me?” “I heard that hypnosis opens me up to receiving messages from the devil.” “Is that true?”
When you hear that or any objection to the hypnosis process you put on your hat and are now a professional salesperson. Salespeople know that they have to overcome objections in order to win over the customer. Salespeople know that objections mean questions and questions mean interest and stimulating more interest and turn your prospect into a life-long client. I was always the kind of person when hearing an “objection” from a potential client; I would take the objection as a personal assault on my integrity. Nothing could have been further from the truth. People are interested in “their problems,” not yours.
Questions signify interest on the part of your prospects or clients. Learning the art of listening to and handling questions and objections will help build your practice quicker than you may think.
Learn to listen and sell each prospect and you will get many more clients than you are getting now.
Does Your Lack of Self-esteem and Self-confidence Hold You Back from Success!
Yes, it does. And it holds back every one of your prospects and clients back from success. When you overcome your lack of self-esteem and self-confidence as it relates to your marketing abilities, you will become empowered to help all of your clients with all of their problems. You will be in rapport with your clients as you understand how hard it is to overcome problems on your own, and you will have the exact procedure to help your clients overcome their lack of self-esteem and self-confidence and enable and empower your clients to solve their problems based on your input.
Do more marketing and do it everyday. You will defeat the fear in your own mind and be in a much better position to defeat the fears that de-motivate your future clients.
Attract new clients so you can reach your financial goals
Most of us just survive. People spend forty or fifty hours a week working a job and then they spend money as fast as they can so they have a reason to go back to a job they usually hate.
My attracting as many clients as you can handle you get out of the rut of just paying bills to a point where you can take time off and do the things you want to do. You get to go on vacations, move to exotic locations, and retire in the fashion you deserve.
Attracting clients and building your practice will allow you the freedom to take the courses you want to take, purchase the learning materials you put off until certain money goals are achieved, and help others in your family or your charities or your church.
It starts with marketing, and ends with a dream!
