3 Top Marketing Tools for Hypnotists
I have been asked many times, what are the top things I do to get business as a hypnotherapist?
Many people find that blowing money on advertising is not the way to go.
Here are the top three things I do to get business as a hypnotherapist. These are ranked in order of importance.
1. Live stage hypnosis show:
When I began my career as a hypnotist, I only wanted to hypnotize for entertainment. However, I found out quickly that after every show, I had several people come up to me after the show with money in hand to schedule sessions for weight, smoking, self-confidence, sales ability, etc.
I found that referring these people to other qualified hypnotherapists did not work out well. After all, they witnessed my skills and wanted me to hypnotize them personally.
The major reason I spend so much time on the subject of stage hypnotism in my Master Hypnosis Home Study Course is because this is the best way to get clients.
Also, stage hypnotism presents a huge profit center for hypnotherapists. You get paid a fee to market for clients as opposed to talking for free in front of service groups to get clients.
2. Asking for referrals from clients:
Most people in sales do not ask for referrals. This is usually because they do not believe in their product or service. They also do not believe that they have any value to their client.
When people come to you for hypnotherapy, they come to you with the very same problems they share with their co-workers, family, and friends. Once you have successfully treated your client, the best way to insure success is to hypnotize co-workers, family and friends.
Dr. Milton Erickson, one of the biggest names in hypnotherapy always believed in therapy for the whole family not just the single person. He realized that he had to work in his client’s “model of the world.”
3. Radio interviews:
I have interview on radio stations all over the world. Since most interviews can be done off of your home telephone, there are no travel costs and yet thousands of possibilities to get on the radio.
I have interviewed on ESPN, on small private stations, on large market stations, on college radio, and even on some high school radio stations. By going on the radio you can discuss what you do and even offer to hypnotize the radio audience. I have done so many times and it is a great deal of fun.
Summary:
Hypnotizing from the stage, asking for referrals and getting radio interviews from my home phone are the top three ways I get hypnotherapy clients.
I wish you success in getting your clients.
